On concert day, all of the students will be staying backstage with us for the duration of the concert. Students will need to know what allocated group they are in as per the below.

As always, the safety of our dance family is our #1 priority. When students arrive at the rehearsal and recital/concert they are to be signed in by a parent or guardian and must be signed out when it is time to leave. Students are not permitted to leave the venue while the rehearsal and concert is running.   All parents will have a designated time of arrival and pick up for their child’s age group.   No parents will be allowed in the dressing room unless they are doing this for the actual concert. All parents will need to sign in at the door and then leave the venue. Your child’s level allocated supervisor will take them to their dressing room space to set up. Each designated area will have at least 2/3 or more helpers.

Only SJ Dance Studio staff and registered helpers are permitted backstage or in the dressing room.

All students are to have their name marked off when they arrive at the venue. If someone else is picking your child up, they need to have a permission note to show who will be supervising them.   All students 13yrs and over may sign in and out themselves. No child under the age of 13 years is to leave the venue without a parent or guardian.
